The Parramatta Eels have confirmed the signing of four-time premiership-winning playmaker Jarome Luai for the 2027 NRL season, while head coach Jason Ryles has moved quickly to secure contract extensions for two of the club’s biggest stars.
Luai, who previously starred for the Penrith Panthers and Wests Tigers, joins the Eels on a one-year deal before heading to the PNG Chiefs in 2028. His arrival is seen as a coup for Parramatta, bringing creativity, leadership, and championship experience to the halves alongside captain Mitchell Moses.
“Jarome is a proven winner and a competitor who thrives in big games. His presence will lift the squad and provide invaluable guidance to our younger players,” Ryles said.
