The date of Netflix’s broadcast of the Top 10 Motocross Riders of All Time has been announced.

The roar of engines and the thrill of high-speed stunts weren’t the only things stirring up excitement at the opening stage of the 2025 Brazilian Motocross Championship in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. Yamaha, in a creative collaboration with leading agency AlmapBBDO, took the event by storm with a unique and playful activation that blended motorsport energy with culinary curiosity: the ‘Off-Road Milkshake’.

This unconventional activation transformed powerful Yamaha motocross bikes into live-action blenders. Yes, you read that right—motorcycles became milkshake makers, delivering a high-octane twist to the traditional refreshment stand. Attendees at the event were invited to select their favourite milkshake flavours, which were then poured into specially designed containers fixed to the Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F models.

What happened next turned the motocross track into a performance stage. Professional riders Renato Paz, Tatá Mello, and Wellington Garcia mounted their bikes and performed a series of adrenaline-fueled stunts. These high-intensity moves caused the bikes to vibrate powerfully, effectively mixing the ingredients in real time. The result was a milkshake shaken—not stirred—by the sheer force of motocross.

The idea for the activation stemmed from a humorous yet insightful observation by the creative team at AlmapBBDO. “Our insight came from a quirky observation about motocross: the more powerful the bikes and intense the stunts, the more the riders resemble human blenders,” explained creatives Felipe Paganoti and Igor Pontes. “So, we decided to take that idea to the max, transforming the bikes’ extreme vibrations into a wildly interactive experience for the public.”

For Yamaha, this wasn’t just about drawing a crowd—it was about expressing the core values that fuel their racing division. “At Yamaha Racing Brasil, our pillars are grit, strength, focus, fun, and fair play,” shared Giovana do Vale, brand, marketing, and racing manager at Yamaha Motor do Brasil. “We make it a priority for our riders—and the fans who support us—to enjoy riding, whether in competition or in their free time. This activation was a clear example of that.”

The event, organised by the Brazilian Motorcycling Confederation (CBM) in collaboration with the Municipality of Ponta Grossa, drew over 45,000 spectators to the city’s Municipal Track at the Agricultural Centre. Featuring nearly 500 riders from 19 different countries, the championship’s kickoff was already primed to be a standout event. Yamaha’s ‘Off-Road Milkshake’ bar only added to the buzz, delivering an experience that seamlessly combined speed, creativity, and crowd interaction.

Produced with the help of production company FISH, the activation didn’t just serve up drinks—it delivered a moment of pure entertainment and surprise. In doing so, Yamaha and AlmapBBDO successfully engaged fans in a dynamic and memorable way, turning the raw energy of motocross into a deliciously fun spectacle.
