🙏 There is positive news regarding the health of former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, who was shot in a random attack in Las Vegas while walking his dog.

Radio personality Eddie Trunk provided an update, confirming that despite being struck by three bullets—in the chest, arm, and foot—Lee is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery.

Crucially, Trunk’s statement, which came directly from Lee’s manager, revealed the fortunate extent of the injuries:

> “He was hit 3 times. He was hit in the chest, arm and foot. Bullets missed all major organs except [a] lung. But he is doing well and expected to make a full recovery. This info direct from his manager who I just spoke with. Got very lucky thankfully!”

🎸 Support and Recent Health Issues

Since the initial news broke, numerous rock musicians, including Gary Holt, Doug Aldrich, DJ Ashba, Tracii Guns, and Dave Navarro, have publicly offered their well wishes.

The guitarist had recently been dealing with severe health issues related to his playing hand. Earlier this month, Lee discussed the significant pain in his right wrist due to a lack of cartilage. He was undergoing cortisone shots for treatment, opting against surgery, in hopes of touring again soon with his band, Red Dragon Cartel, which released its album Patina in 2018.
