⚡️ The Parramatta Eels have delivered exciting news to the Eels faithful, announcing that star winger Josh Addo-Carr has committed to a one-year contract extension, locking him into the Club until the conclusion of the 2027 NRL season.
Since his arrival, Addo-Carr, affectionately known as “The Fox,” has been a magnetic presence and a standout performer, quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite. Under the tutelage of Head Coach Jason Ryles, the prolific winger has recaptured his elite form, achieving the notable milestone of earning a call-up to the Australian Kangaroos squad for the prestigious Ashes Test series.
Addo-Carr expressed his deep connection to the club and his gratitude for the support he’s received.
“I absolutely love this Club. Everyone here from the coaches to the players, management and admin staff, and of course our incredible fans have made Parramatta feel like home from the moment I arrived,” Addo-Carr stated.
He specifically credited the coaching staff for his recent success: “Rylesy and the coaching staff have helped me become the player I always wanted to be, both on and off the field. I’m grateful for their belief in me and I’m excited for what we’re building together.”
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill, underscored the immense value Addo-Carr brings to the squad, beyond his on-field brilliance. “We are absolutely delighted to have Josh remain with the Parramatta Eels through 2027. In his inaugural season in the Blue & Gold jersey, Addo-Carr achieved significant career landmarks, including playing his 200th NRL game and surpassing 150 career tries.
