The roar of the engines is set to return to the hills of Southern California as the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship kicks off this weekend at Fox Raceway in Pala, California. Following a thrilling finale to the Monster Energy Supercross season just over a week ago, the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team is now laser-focused on their outdoor campaign — and they’re bringing a full roster of talent to the start gate.
This year, Pro Circuit Kawasaki is fielding an impressive five-rider team composed of both seasoned racers and a promising rookie. Returning to action are Seth Hammaker (#56), Garrett Marchbanks (#36), and rookie standout Drew Adams (#98), all of whom showed strong performances at the close of the Supercross season. Joining them for their first race appearances in some time are Levi Kitchen (#47) and Ty Masterpool (#26), both of whom are making long-anticipated returns following injury layoffs.
With 11 grueling rounds ahead, the team is looking to secure moto wins and overall victories throughout the summer on their powerful Kawasaki KX250 machines. The season opener at Fox Raceway is more than just the first gate drop of the season — it’s a crucial tone-setter for the championship, and the riders are ready to make a statement.
Team Manager Iain Southwell shared his thoughts ahead of the season kickoff:
“We’ve made it to the first motocross race this weekend in Pala, California, which is a local race for us. Our team will be fielding five riders this summer with Seth, Levi, Ty, Garrett, and Drew. We’ve had split crews testing both here in California and in Florida last week. Southern California is usually a hard-pack track style, while the East Coast is more of a soft-sand setup. Both can be tricky to figure out, but we’ve put in the work and will be ready.”
That work has included an intense off-season of testing and preparation. The team’s bi-coastal testing approach has given them valuable insight into both track styles they’ll encounter throughout the season. Fox Raceway, with its hard-pack soil and demanding terrain, will be the first test of their preparation — and it’s one the riders are ready to take head-on.
Seth Hammaker comes into the Pro Motocross season with momentum and a strong drive to establish himself as a front-runner. Garrett Marchbanks has been consistently improving and brings a blend of experience and aggression that will be key in the highly competitive 250 class. Rookie Drew Adams is eager to prove himself in the outdoor format, showing promise as one of the sport’s rising stars.
Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Levi Kitchen and Ty Masterpool as they return from injury. Kitchen, known for his smooth riding style and technical skill, is expected to be a strong contender once he settles back into race rhythm. Masterpool, with his relentless drive and grit, is looking to make an immediate impact and shake up the leaderboard.
With a deep lineup and solid preparation under their belts, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki is set for an exciting summer of racing. Whether it’s hard-pack West Coast tracks or soft-sand East Coast circuits, the team is ready to rise to the challenge and chase the 250 class championship.
As the gates drop at Fox Raceway, fans can expect fireworks from the green machines. The journey starts now — and the Pro Circuit squad is all in.
