Metallica Heading to Fayetteville

Metallica is bringing its massive M72 World Tour to Fayetteville, Arkansas, with Razorback Stadium officially confirmed as one of the band’s North American stops in 2027.

The legendary heavy metal group will perform at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on May 26, 2027, giving fans in Northwest Arkansas the opportunity to see one of rock’s most influential bands perform live in a major stadium setting.

A Major Tour Stop

The Fayetteville concert is part of an expanded North American leg of Metallica’s ongoing M72 World Tour. The new run is scheduled to begin May 8, 2027, in Vancouver and will visit 12 cities before concluding June 19 in Salt Lake City.

Fayetteville is positioned between San Antonio and Kansas City on the tour schedule, making the Razorback Stadium performance one of the selected stops on the band’s 2027 stadium run.

Limp Bizkit and Avatar Joining the Bill

Fans attending the Fayetteville show will not only get Metallica.

Limp Bizkit and Avatar are listed as supporting acts for the North American dates, adding another major attraction to an already highly anticipated night of live music.

The combination of Metallica’s established catalog and the supporting performances is expected to make the Fayetteville event a major date on the region’s 2027 entertainment calendar.

Ticket Sales Announced

Fans will have several opportunities to secure tickets.

Metallica’s fan club presales begin Monday, September 21, with Legacy Members receiving access at 10 a.m. CDT and Fifth Members beginning at noon. Additional presale opportunities are scheduled before tickets become available to the general public.

The general onsale is scheduled for Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. CDT.

Razorback Stadium Ready to Rock

Razorback Stadium is normally associated with University of Arkansas football, but the venue has increasingly become a destination for major concerts.

The Fayetteville Metallica performance continues that trend, following other major artists who have recently brought large-scale productions to the stadium.

For local music fans, the announcement provides another opportunity to experience a globally recognized act without leaving Northwest Arkansas.

Another Chapter of M72

Metallica’s M72 World Tour has already taken the band across numerous countries since launching in 2023. The 2027 extension will continue that enormous touring campaign with another series of stadium performances across North America.

The tour’s distinctive stadium presentation will bring Metallica’s production to Fayetteville, giving attendees the chance to experience the band in a large-scale live setting.

Fayetteville Date Set

The countdown to May 26, 2027, has officially begun.

With Metallica headlining, Limp Bizkit and Avatar on the bill, and Razorback Stadium serving as the venue, Fayetteville is set for one of its biggest rock concerts in years.

For Metallica fans across Arkansas and neighboring states, the message is clear: the M72 World Tour is coming to Fayetteville.
