Lindsey Vonn and Emma Watson were among the high-profile names who drew attention at the opening-night celebration for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. The museum’s collection includes more than 40,000 works, while its inaugural presentation occupies more than 100,000 square feet across more than 30 galleries. The exhibitions feature artists and storytellers from different eras and cultural backgrounds.

The opening-night celebration was designed to showcase the museum’s central idea: that images can communicate stories and connect people across generations and cultures.
