A federal judge in Washington, D.C., halted the enforcement of President Donald Trump’s executive order suspending foreign aid and funding.
Judge Amir Ali said the White House was ignorant to the effect the order would have on the services America has been providing to the world through non-profit organizations.
Trump’s advisers in the Oval Office stated the overseas aid was inconsistent with his 2024 election objective; the organizations disputed the order in court.
