50th Anniversary Album

🎸 Major Tour Plans Ahead

German heavy metal legends Accept are ramping up for an electrifying new chapter, confirming that they have enlisted acclaimed producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris for their upcoming studio album. The album is being prepared as a cornerstone of the band’s massive 50th-anniversary celebrations set for the following year.
The news comes directly from founding guitarist and creative mastermind Wolf Hoffmann, who recently shared details about the band’s intense schedule and plans in an interview with Mark Strigl.
Laying Low (But Not Really)

Despite ambitious plans for a significant workload next year, Hoffmann revealed that Accept is already facing a busy 2025. While the initial goal was to “lay low this year” to prepare for the massive 50th-anniversary tour and album production, various show opportunities have kept them active.
Hoffmann mentioned a couple of confirmed U.S. festival appearances, including a slot at the M3 Rock Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, in early May. But the touring doesn’t stop there.
“We’re [planning] on another tour in the fall, which I cannot talk about quite yet,” Hoffmann stated, as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET. “But there will be more shows in the U.S. later in the year. They haven’t been announced yet, so I can’t really say much… And other than that, we’re going to Europe.”

The Anniversary Album and Zeuss’s Return

The primary focus remains the landmark celebration year. Hoffmann confirmed that the band is fully committed to delivering a powerful new record to accompany the festivities.
“We’re gonna be very, very busy next year when we have the 50-year anniversary tour coming up and an album in the works for that,” he explained.

While Hoffmann didn’t elaborate on the specific decision to bring back Chris “Zeuss” Harris in this particular interview, the producer’s involvement is significant. Zeuss has been instrumental in shaping Accept’s sound throughout their modern era, having worked on critically acclaimed albums like Blind Rage (2014) and The Rise of Chaos (2017). His return signals a commitment to the powerful, tight, and crushing production style that has defined the band’s recent material.

With a busy slate of unannounced U.S. and European dates, and the return of a trusted production partner for the anniversary album, Accept is clearly poised to make their 50th year one of their most impactful yet. Fans can expect announcements regarding the fall tour and the celebratory album details to arrive soon.
