The Grand Slam Track series, launched in 2025
by Michael Johnson, brings together top-tier
athletes in a points-based competition across
multiple events. Sydney has been the face of the
series, dominating both the 400m hurdles and
the 400m flat:
• Kingston Slam (April):
o 400m hurdles: 52.76s
o 400m flat: 50.32s
° Result: Unbeaten, 24 points, $100,000
prize.
•Miami Slam (May):
O 400m hurdles: 52.07s
° 400m flat: 49.69s (Season Best)
° Result: Again, 24 points and another
$100,000.
That’s 48 points and $200,000 in just two meets
-something no other athlete in the series has
come close to matching.
2. Unmatched Versatility
What makes her dominance more impressive is
her range:
• She is already the Olympic and World Record
holder in the 400m hurdles (50.68s).
• Now, she’s beating 400m specialists in their
own event, like she did in Miami, where she
clocked 49.69s, a time that would win gold at
most global championships.
• She’s also entering the 100Om flat, showing
that her speed is world-class even at the
shortest distances.
3. Mental and Technical Supremacy
McLaughlin-Levrone races with incredible
Composure and near-perfect form:
• Her stride pattern and hurdle clearance are
technically flawless.
