Battlefield 6 has officially taken the crown as the most popular game in the UK, winning Game of the Year 2026 at the UKIE Awards. The Guildford-based studio Criterion Games delivered a record-breaking launch, selling over 7 million copies in just three days.
This achievement marks the biggest release in the franchise’s history and highlights the strength of UK talent in the global gaming industry. Alongside its commercial success, Battlefield 6 also won Best UK PC Game, further cementing its dominance in the market.
Other UK-developed titles also shined at the awards, including Atomfall by Rebellion, which won Best UK Console Game, and PowerWash Simulator by FuturLab, which took home Best UK Mobile Game.
